Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Workday Integration Consultant with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Studio, Workday integration frameworks, and Payroll integrations (PECI/PICOF). This role requires the ability to independently build and maintain end-to-end integrations while partnering closely with HR, Payroll, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connectors.
- Build and support complex Payroll integrations, specifically PECI and PICOF for payroll vendors and downstream systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across multiple environments, ensuring smooth data flow and system reliability.
- Work closely with HRIS, Payroll, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain integration documentation, mapping specifications, and technical design documents.
- Monitor integrations, perform impact analysis, manage enhancements, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Support Workday releases, regression testing, and new feature adoption for integration-related changes.
- Ensure compliance with internal security, data privacy, and integration architecture guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
4-8 years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM Integrations
Strong expertise in:
- Workday Studio
- Workday EIB (Inbound/Outbound)
- Core/Cloud Connectors
- Workday Integration Certification(s) mandatory
- Payroll Integrations (PECI & PICOF) mandatory
- Solid understanding of HCM data structures, business processes, and integration architecture.
- Proficiency in XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST) and integration error-handling frameworks.
- Experience in integration monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently on multiple integration builds and enhancements.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Certified on any module.
- Experience with payroll vendor systems.
- Exposure to middleware tools is a plus.
- Experience with BIRT reporting is an advantage.
