Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Workday Integration Consultant with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Studio, Workday integration frameworks, and Payroll integrations (PECI/PICOF). This role requires the ability to independently build and maintain end-to-end integrations while partnering closely with HR, Payroll, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connectors.
  • Build and support complex Payroll integrations, specifically PECI and PICOF for payroll vendors and downstream systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across multiple environments, ensuring smooth data flow and system reliability.
  • Work closely with HRIS, Payroll, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation, mapping specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Monitor integrations, perform impact analysis, manage enhancements, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Support Workday releases, regression testing, and new feature adoption for integration-related changes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security, data privacy, and integration architecture guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

4-8 years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM Integrations

Strong expertise in:

  • Workday Studio
  • Workday EIB (Inbound/Outbound)
  • Core/Cloud Connectors
  • Workday Integration Certification(s) mandatory
  • Payroll Integrations (PECI & PICOF) mandatory
  • Solid understanding of HCM data structures, business processes, and integration architecture.
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST) and integration error-handling frameworks.
  • Experience in integration monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple integration builds and enhancements.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday Certified on any module.
  • Experience with payroll vendor systems.
  • Exposure to middleware tools is a plus.
  • Experience with BIRT reporting is an advantage.
