At Coforge we are hiring senior Workday Architect with deep expertise in HR platforms and large‑scale integrations to lead architecture and technical direction for enterprise HR systems.
This is a hands-on architecture role where you will design, evaluate, and influence Workday technology solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and peer architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise-scale integrations across HR platforms such as Workday, Workday Extend, ADP, Eightfold, and related systems
- Design and govern integrations using APIs, Event-driven patterns, SFTP, batch and real-time integrations
- Drive HR technology architecture decisions with a strong understanding of HR data models and data sensitivity
- Lead and contribute to RFPs, vendor evaluations, and technical assessments for HR domain solutions
- Design solutions leveraging public cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Review and challenge solution designs; dive into Java/Python code when required to ensure architectural alignment
- Partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate with enterprise and domain architects to deliver outcomes faster and avoid silos
- Evaluate technology trade-offs, balancing cost, risk, scalability, and business value
- Bring a forward-looking mindset with exposure to GenAI / Agentic AI use cases in HR (added advantage)
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of overall IT experience, with strong focus on HR technology and integrations
- Deep expertise in Workday architecture (Core HCM, Integrations, Extend preferred)
- Experience with ADP, Eightfold, or other HR / Talent platforms
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns: REST/SOAP APIs, Events, SFTP, Middleware
- Hands-on experience designing solutions on AWS and/or Azure
- Ability to review code (Java/Python) and guide engineering teams
- Excellent understanding of HR data, workflows, and compliance considerations
- Proven ability to engage senior business stakeholders, influence decisions, and present fact-based recommendations
- Strong collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills
- Commercial and strategic mindset with the ability to align technology to business outcomes
