Job Profile Summary

Workday HCM and PATT Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of the company's HRIS, specifically Workday HCM and Payroll systems. This role involves collaborating with the onsite IT team to align the HRIS application with the organization's technical infrastructure and digital strategy. The Analyst will also ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to safeguard the computing environment and protect critical data. This is a highly technical, hands-on position requiring active engagement in system management and support.

 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities - HCM

  • Configure and manage workday Core HCM, Talent, and Recruitment modules.
  • Analyze and improve HR workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and other HR processes.
  • Manage system updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot and provide Support to end-users for Workday related inquiries
  • Serve as subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities 

Key Responsibilities – Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking

  • Configure and maintain payroll workflows, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Handle payroll calculations, tax compliance and integrations with external providers
  • Manage time-tracking module, time entry, approvals, and compliance rules.
  • Optimize workflows for capturing employee hours, overtime, and time-off requests.
  • Configure absence policies, accruals, and leave types in Workday.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of leave balances and adherence to company policies.
  • Accountability for data governance, security and compliance for Workday Payroll
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation of system functions, processes and capabilities 
  • Ensures proper security measures are implemented to protect computing resources and critical data, while maximizing system uptime.

Qualifications

  • Workday core HCM Pro certification or Payroll Pro Certification is needed.
  • Any additional Workday Certification in HRIS modules is an advantage
  • 7–10 years of experience in HRIS roles, preferably with Workday HCM.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Payroll systems, or Workday modules.
  • Participation in Workday implementation, upgrades, or optimization projects.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes including onboarding and offboarding; performance management and talent acquisition; compensation and benefits
  • Ability to analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules.
  • Workday Studio for integrations. APIs or other integration tools for payroll systems.
  • Exposure to HRIS platforms such as ADP, SAP, or Oracle HCM.
