Responsible for configuration and support of RGP's Workday HCM system including requirements elicitation, solution design, system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. This role serves as a point-of-contact and subject matter expert for assigned functional areas within Workday such as Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management.
Primary Functions:
- Leads the administration, maintenance and configuration of HR systems for the company.
- Collaborate with business partners to capture and document requirements for Workday enhancements and fixes.
- Key contributor on HR system projects (scope, design, testing, and implementation).
- Contributes to, develops and maintains systems and workflow architectures.
- Design and develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation to support change management.
- Carries out system administration activities system maintenance, system testing, data checks, fault finding and troubleshooting, resolution, and managing user access.
- Builds and delivers integrations between HRIS and other systems (both internal and external) including vendors, for example Benefit, Financial, Talent systems, etc.
- Supports security configuration and management to ensure appropriate control of access to data and system, typically in partnership with IT department.
- Supports and may develop reporting metrics and measurement activities across a wide range of HR activities.
- Works closely with vendors, internal IT and Finance to continuously improve HR systems and delivery mechanisms.
- Responds to ad hoc reporting requirements timely, ensuring reporting deadlines are met as expected; either monthly or on a per pay period basis.
- Maintains confidentiality of data, departmental, and system and security at all times.
- Ensures open communication and alignment across all functional areas including Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Time, Absence and Payroll.
- Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product development, delivery and support.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the implementation, development, and support of Human Resources systems.
- 2+ years of experience as a Workday system administrator responsible for configuration, testing, and support of Workday.
- Experience with Workday reporting tools and EIBs.
- Knowledge of Human Resources processes and data throughout the employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, job changes, timekeeping, absences, and benefits.
- Ability to listen effectively and actively engage others.
- Ability to work independently, managing work from concept through completion.
- Ability to identify and articulate options to stakeholders and influence decisions.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Participation in at least one full life cycle Workday HCM implementation preferred.
- Knowledge of Workday Core HR, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management concepts and configuration preferred.
- Completion of Workday training in Core HR, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management preferred.
