Workday Finance Tester

We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Tester with strong hands-on experience in Workday Financial Management and end-to-end testing.

Client: Infosys

Experience: 5+years

Location: PAN INDIA

Notice Period: 15days/Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, SIT, regression, and UAT testing for Workday Finance.
• Test Workday Finance business processes and workflows.
• Validate General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Expenses, Suppliers, Customers, and Journals.
• Create and execute detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Validate end-to-end financial transactions and business-process approvals.
• Perform integration testing between Workday and external financial systems.
• Validate Workday reports and financial data.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation between Workday and downstream/upstream systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Participate in defect triage and work closely with developers, Workday consultants, Business Analysts, and Finance teams.
• Support regression testing during Workday releases and enhancements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide testing status and defect reports.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 3+ years relevant experience in Workday Finance Testing
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management
• Strong knowledge of:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expenses
• Suppliers
• Customers
• Journals
• Strong experience in SIT, Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing
• Experience testing Workday business processes
• Experience in Workday integrations
• Experience with Workday reports and data validation
• Good understanding of Finance/Accounting processes
• Experience with JIRA/defect management tools
• Good communication and analytical skills
