Workday Finance- Allocation

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build Workday allocation definitions and group sets, including:
• Copy and reclass allocations
• Spreadevenly methodologies
• Prorate methodologies aligned to business drivers
• Configure and support intercompany allocations, leveraging Workday automated balancing functionality.
• Set up and maintain statistical accounts and allocation drivers (e.g., headcount, volume metrics, square footage) to support prorate allocations.
• Load and manage allocation inputs and statistical drivers using EIBs.
• Review and analyze pro forma allocation results during testing cycles and validate outcomes prior to golive.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve allocation configuration or data issues.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders and Technology teams to translate business requirements into effective Workday allocation solutions.
• Support project phases including analysis, design, testing, deployment, and postgolive stabilization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, MIS, tech, or a related field
• 810 years of experience in Workday Financials, with handson focus on allocations
• Strong understanding of cost allocation and intercompany accounting concepts
• Experience configuring statistical drivers and allocation methodologies in Workday
• Handson experience using EIBs for financial or statistical data loads
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and validation skills
• Ability to work independently in a global, crossfunctional environment
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
