Workday Developer

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Workday Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support Workday integrations, reports, and business processes.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Workday integrations and the ability to work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, and Workday Web Services.
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations with Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Finance, Identity Management, and other enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain Workday reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
- Configure and support Business Processes, notifications, and security.
- Support Workday Extend applications where applicable.
- Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and design specifications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, deployments, data conversions, and data validation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor integration performance and data quality.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow Workday best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on Workday Development experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- Workday Studio
- EIB & Core Connectors
- Workday Reporting & Calculated Fields
- Business Process Framework & Workday Security
- Workday Web Services / REST / SOAP APIs
- XML, XSLT & JSON
- SQL / SQL Server
- Azure DevOps & Git
- Agile/Scrum
- Experience integrating Workday with external and enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certification in Integration, HCM, Payroll, or Financials.
- Experience with Workday Extend.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Compensation processes.
- Integration experience with ADP, Kronos, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or ERP platforms.
Experience Level
Senior-Level: 7+ years with strong integration design, architecture, and leadership experience.
