Job Opportunity: Package Consultant – Workday Benefits & Compensation

Location: Bangalore, India

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Package Consultant specializing in Workday Benefits and Compensation to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, leveraging your deep technical expertise and business acumen to implement, configure, and support Workday modules.

You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and packaged solution functionality, ensuring our clients achieve seamless HR transformations and maximize their Workday investment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation Planning & Analysis

  • Utilize advanced consulting skills and industry best practices to plan and analyze the implementation of Workday Benefits and Compensation modules.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to understand their unique business environment and ensure the Workday solution aligns with their strategic goals.

2. System Configuration & Functional Design

  • Translate business requirements into functional designs and configure the Workday system accordingly.
  • Leverage your deep functional knowledge to optimize the functionality of both the Benefits and Compensation modules.

3. Issue Resolution & Cross-Module Support

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex configuration and functional business issues.
  • Work collaboratively to address touchpoints and dependencies across different cross-functional HR modules.

4. Requirements Gathering & Testing

  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions with client teams and document business processes.
  • Design and execute rigorous unit testing scripts to ensure a flawless, error-free system rollout.

5. Deployment & Post-Implementation Support

  • Collaborate closely with clients to manage change, execute smooth rollouts, and ensure user adoption.
  • Provide robust post-implementation support, hypercare, and ongoing system optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Workday implementations, specifically focused on the Benefits and Compensation modules.
  • Consulting Skills: Proven track record in a client-facing consulting role, with the ability to guide stakeholders through complex technical decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a knack for debugging configuration issues and optimizing business processes.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business leaders.
