Job Title: Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant (2 – 5 Years Experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for skilled Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience to develop & support financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling using Workday Adaptive Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning solutions as per business requirements.

• Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements, define data models, and create reports and dashboards.

• Develop and manage planning models and other key financial metrics.

• Build and automate financial reports, forecasts, and scenario models.

• Conduct data validation, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Provide user training and support for Workday Adaptive Planning users.

• Work with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, and Finance to ensure data consistency and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience working with Workday Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights).

• Strong understanding of Financial planning processes, financial modelling, and budgeting concepts.

• Experience in creating sheets, versions, assumptions, and custom calculations within Adaptive Planning.

• Familiarity with data integration tools and methods (e.g., Adaptive Integration, Workday connectors, APIs).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Workday HCM or Financials.

• Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.

• Adaptive Planning certification(s) is a plus.

• Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
