Role Details:
. Title / Designation: Workday Adaptive Planning Techno-Functional Lead
. Location: Gurugram, India
. Work mode: Hybrid
Role & Responsibilities:
. Lead end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations, enhancements, and production support activities
. Act as the primary techno-functional SME for Adaptive Planning including Modeling, Sheets, Versions, Dimensions, Reports, Dashboards, and Security
. Design scalable planning and forecasting solutions for workforce planning, capex, revenue, expense, allocations, and scenario modeling
. Collaborate with FP&A and Finance stakeholders to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
. Define standards for model architecture, calculation logic, governance, documentation, and change management
. Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics for business and leadership reporting
. Manage data strategy including hierarchies, chart of accounts mapping, master data, dimensionality, reconciliations, and data quality
. Design and support integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and enterprise systems including Workday Financials and HCM
. Monitor integrations, automation workflows, and system performance while handling issue resolution and root-cause analysis
. Support testing, deployment, hypercare, user training, and ongoing optimization initiatives
Candidate Requirements:
. 7+ years of experience in the Workday ecosystem with 4+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience
. Experience leading at least one end-to-end Adaptive Planning implementation or major enhancement project
. Strong understanding of FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and headcount planning
. Experience building multi-dimensional financial planning models across entities, cost centers, products, projects, and accounts
. Strong knowledge of Finance concepts including GL, Fixed Assets, Expenses, financial statements, month-end close, and reconciliations
. Familiarity with consolidations, eliminations, roll-forwards, and multi-entity financial reporting structures
. Experience with integrations, APIs, ETL tools, scheduled interfaces, and data automation processes
. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
. Workday Adaptive Planning certifications (Implementation/Admin)
. Experience integrating Adaptive Planning with Workday Financials and/or HCM
. Exposure to global or multi-country planning environments and multi-currency models
. Experience working within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or shared services environments
. Familiarity with enterprise reporting, automation, and performance optimization best practices
Education & Other Details:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
