Telecaller is a frontline representative who communicates with existing and prospective clients over the phone to promote products, generate sales leads, or provide customer support. They are the critical voice of the company, bridging the gap between a business and its target audience.Core ResponsibilitiesOutbound Calling: Initiate calls to potential customers from provided databases or leads to promote products and services.Inbound Support: Handle incoming customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide accurate product information.Lead Nurturing: Follow up with prospects who showed interest to convert them into confirmed sales or book appointments for senior sales teams.Data Management: Accurately update and maintain customer interaction records, feedback, and call outcomes in CRM systems.Target Achievement: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as call volume and sales closures.Script Adaptation: Follow predefined scripts while seamlessly adapting communication styles to handle customer objections.Key Skills & QualificationsEducation: Minimum 10+2 (High School) or a Bachelor's degree.Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills in local languages (e.g., Hindi, English, regional dialects).Persuasion: Strong negotiation, convincing, and objection-handling abilities.Tech Savviness: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM software and MS Office.Soft Skills: Patience, resilience to rejection, and a customer-first attitude.Typical Working ConditionsEnvironment: Typically an office-based call center, corporate environment, or remote (work-from-home setup).Compensation: Often features a base salary paired with performance-based incentives or commissions.Industry Variations: Roles can range from Sales (Telesales) to Customer Service, Lead Generation, or even Fundraising.
