A telecaller is responsible for initiating or receiving phone calls to promote products, services, or resolve customer inquiries. Key responsibilities include generating leads, following scripts, updating customer databases (CRM), and meeting daily/monthly sales or service targets while ensuring high-quality customer interaction. Key ResponsibilitiesOutbound Calling: Proactively call prospective customers to promote products, services, or schedule appointments.Inbound Calling: Handle incoming customer inquiries, complaints, or support requests, providing accurate information.Lead Generation & Sales: Identify potential clients, follow up on leads, and persuade prospects to purchase products/services.Data Maintenance: Accurately document all customer information, conversations, and interaction outcomes in the CRM system.Script Adherence: Follow defined telephone scripts to ensure consistent messaging and quality standards. Required Skills and QualificationsCommunication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening.Persuasion: Ability to persuade customers, handle rejection, and resolve objections.Technical: Basic proficiency in computer applications, specifically CRM software and data entry.Experience: Previous experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales is usually preferred.Attributes: Time management skills, patience, and a positive, customer-oriented attitude. Common Educational BackgroundHigh school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement; a bachelor's degree is often a plus.
