JOB OVERVIEW

For 14 years, CandidShutters has been telling powerful stories through stunning visuals-photography, films, and all things creative. Now, we're launching new verticals under the CandidShutters banner, functioning with the speed and energy of a startup.

We're looking for aWeb Developerwho will be a core member of our small, close-knit team, working directly with the founders. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our web platforms while implementing automation and integrations that make our digital presence seamless and powerful.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Website Development & Maintenance:Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress and WooCommerce websites. Manage hosting environments, domain settings, and backups. Ensure sites are mobile-friendly, fast, and SEO-compliant.
• Integrations:Implement APIs integrations to connect websites with third-party tools.
• Optimization:Optimize site performance, security, and scalability.
• SEO Implementation:Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimization, schema markup, and keyword structuring.
• Design & Communication:Use a good sense of design to create wireframes. Write clear documentation and communicate effectively with the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:25 years of hands-on experience in web development, or a strong fresher with demonstrable projects.
• Technical Skills:Strong expertise inWordPress,WooCommerce,PHP,HTML,CSS, andJavaScript. Experience withERPNextor similar ERP platforms.
• Integration & Automation:Ability to integrate APIs for automation and data sync.
• SEO:Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices (on-page, technical). Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus.
• General:Good verbal and written English communication skills. A comprehensive understanding of website architecture and data flow. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• WordPress and WooCommerce development (including Elementor)
• PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Familiarity with ERPNext would be an added advantage
• API integration
• Web hosting management (cPanel, DNS, SSL, backups)
• On-page and technical SEO best practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving mindset
• Teamwork and adaptability in a startup environment
