Role Overview
We are seeking a WordPress LMS Developer Intern for a four to six-week internship to contribute to the development of our internal LMS-based mock test platform. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to configure and customize a WordPress environment utilizing LMS plugins, thereby simulating an exam-like interface for CAT with sections such as VARC, LRDI, and QA.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and Customize WordPress LMS: Implement a WordPress LMS (LearnPress, Tutor LMS, or LifterLMS are preferred)
- Develop Interactive CAT-Style Mock Test Environment: Construct an interactive CAT-style mock test environment incorporating section-switching tabs (VARC, LRDI, and QA), a timer and test navigation panel, and a question palette with color-coded indicators.
- Create User-Friendly Dashboards: Design user-friendly dashboards for both students and administrators.
- Develop Content Upload Systems: Implement content upload systems utilizing CSV or manual methods.
- Ensure Mobile-Friendly and Responsive UI/UX: Ensure that the platform is mobile-friendly and responsive.
- Collaborate Directly with Founder and Content Creators: Collaborate directly with the founder and content creators.
Required Skills
- WordPress Setup and Plugin Customization
- LMS Plugin Experience: Familiarity with at least one of the following LMS plugins: LearnPress, Tutor LMS, or LifterLMS
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and fundamental PHP programming
- A strong emphasis on user-centric design principles
- The ability to work independently and consistently meet project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing online test or Learning Management System (LMS) platforms
- Knowledge of CAT/competitive exam formats
- Familiarity with Elementor or similar WordPress page builders
- Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of AI integrations or backend automation would be a significant advantage
