We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of professional experience and a solid foundation in building, customizing, and maintaining functional, high-performance websites. In this role, you will work across the full lifecycle of web projects, from initial setup and layout design using page builders to integrating complex e-commerce solutions via WooCommerce and Shopify.
Responsibilities
- Website Development: Build and launch full-scale WordPress websites from scratch, ensuring they are fully responsive and optimized for all devices.
- Theme and Plugin Management: Install, configure, and customize themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- E-commerce Integration: Set up and manage online stores using WooCommerce and Shopify, including product configuration, payment gateways, and shipping modules.
- Custom Architecture: Implement Custom Post Types (CPT) and custom fields to handle specialized content structures.
- Design Implementation: Utilize page builders like Elementor or Divi to create visually appealing layouts while maintaining clean design standards.
- Maintenance and Performance: Perform regular updates, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize sites for speed and core web vitals.
Requirements
- WordPress Expertise: 1-3 years of experience with WordPress core, including a deep understanding of the dashboard and settings.
- Front-end Basics: Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript (jQuery) to make styling adjustments and add interactivity.
- PHP Knowledge: Familiarity with PHP basics for minor template edits and troubleshooting.
- Page Builders: Hands-on experience with Elementor, Divi, or similar drag-and-drop editors.
- E-commerce Platforms: Proven experience working with both WooCommerce and Shopify.
- Responsive Design: A mobile-first mindset to ensure seamless viewing experiences across desktops, tablets, and phones.
