We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Web Developer with strong expertise in WordPress, front-end development, and website optimization. The ideal candidate should be capable of building fast, responsive, SEO-friendly, and visually polished websites from scratch while maintaining clean and scalable code.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes, plugins, Elementor, DIVI, and Gutenberg.
- Build pixel-perfect, mobile-first websites optimized for performance across browsers and devices.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals and page speed using image compression, lazy loading, caching, CSS/JS minification, CDN setup, and render-blocking fixes.
- Configure and troubleshoot caching tools such as WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, and LiteSpeed Cache.
- Implement SEO best practices including heading hierarchy, schema markup, redirects, clean URLs, internal linking, and mobile optimization.
- Ensure ADA/WCAG 2.1 compliance through semantic HTML, ARIA attributes, accessible forms, color contrast, and screen-reader compatibility.
- Debug website issues using Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, GTmetrix, WAVE, and related tools.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and project managers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Use Git/version control and AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to improve development efficiency.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and WordPress architecture.
- Experience with Elementor and DIVI page builders.
- Understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, accessibility standards, and mobile-first development.
- Ability to build fully functional websites from scratch with attention to detail and code quality.
