Job Summary
We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, a security-first mindset, and experience maintaining high-performance websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins
- Ensure website performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
- Implement and maintain website security best practices
- Optimize website speed and SEO structure
- Integrate third-party APIs, CRM tools, and marketing automation platforms
- Manage website hosting, backups, and updates
- Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams
- Monitor website analytics and improve user experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with WordPress CMS
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development
- Knowledge of website security best practices (firewalls, malware scanning, secure coding)
- Familiarity with SEO principles and performance optimization
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Version control experience (Git)
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a cybersecurity or technology company
- Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
