Experience: 7 to 15 years Role Overview
We are looking for experienced
WordPress Engineers (Level III & IV) to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance WordPress-based solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WordPress core development, customization, and modern web technologies, along with the ability to work on complex implementations and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with high performance and scalability.
- Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and modules based on business requirements.
- Develop and manage custom post types, Gutenberg blocks, and multisite environments .
- Implement and consume REST APIs for integrations with external systems.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing WordPress applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, backend, and DevOps.
- Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Manage deployments and version control using GitHub.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in WordPress CMS development , including:
- Theme development & customization
- Plugin development
- Multisite implementation
- Proficiency in:
- PHP with OOP concepts
- MySQL
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Bootstrap 4 & 5
- Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs .
- Hands-on experience in maintaining and enhancing existing WordPress sites.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services .
- Strong experience with GitHub or other version control systems.
Good to Have
- Experience with React.js and/or Node.js .
- Exposure to headless WordPress architecture.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
