Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer to support the development and maintenance of our marketing website and digital campaign assets. This role suits someone with solid WordPress fundamentals who is eager to grow within a marketing-focused technology team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain WordPress pages and landing pages using established themes and page builders (Elementor / Gutenberg)
• Implement design changes and UI updates as directed by the Senior Developer or UI/UX Designer
• Set up and configure WordPress plugins for forms, SEO, analytics, and performance
• Assist in integrating third-party tools (HubSpot forms, GTM, GA4) into website pages
• Identify and resolve front-end bugs, broken links, and performance issues
• Support website content updates, image optimisation, and page publishing
• Maintain version control hygiene using Git and follow established development workflows

Requirements

• 3–5 years of WordPress development experience
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript basics, and PHP fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg block editor
• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and basic analytics setup
• Understanding of website performance basics: image optimisation, caching plugins, Core Web Vitals
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical briefs accurately
• Good communication skills — able to flag blockers and update project status proactively
