Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Work with themes and plugins to build functional websites
• Convert HTML/CSS designs into responsive WordPress themes
• Ensure website performance, speed, and security optimization
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
• Collaborate with designers and senior developers for project execution
• Perform website updates, backups, and maintenance
• Optimize websites for SEO and mobile responsiveness
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with WordPress
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and PHP
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery or Gutenberg
• Basic understanding of MySQL/database management
• Knowledge of responsive design principles
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience with version control tools like Git (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of website hosting and cPanel
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Understanding of website performance optimization tools
• Knowledge of security best practices for WordPress
• Understanding on migration and hosting platforms
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT
• Certification in WordPress related field (preferred but not mandatory)
