About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our growing digital team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing responsive WordPress websites, customizing themes/plugins, and optimizing performance. You will work closely with designers, content creators, and backend developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic and responsive WordPress websites.
- Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
- Integrate and manage third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
- Ensure website performance, security, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, errors, and performance issues.
- Work closely with design and content teams to ensure smooth user experiences.
- Manage Git-based version control and deployment workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress, Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, filters, and APIs.
- Experience with custom post types, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and REST API.
- Familiarity with cPanel, hosting environments, and domain management.
- Experience using Git, Jira, or similar project management tools.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
