Role Description This is a part-time or full time both WordPress Developer role based in Rajkot with a hybrid work arrangement, . The WordPress Developer will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes for academy initiatives and learner-facing platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and modifying front-end layouts, implementing responsive and accessible designs, configuring plugins, and optimizing site performance. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with designers and content teams, and ensuring websites align with branding and user experience standards.
Qualifications
- Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills to create user-friendly, mobile-optimized WordPress interfaces.
- Web Design and Web Development skills to translate visual concepts into functional, well-structured websites.
- Back-End Web Development skills to configure WordPress themes, plugins, and custom functionality securely and efficiently.
- Experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, page builders), HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Understanding of SEO best practices, website performance optimization, and security basics.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Rajkot, manage part-time hours effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills; experience in an educational or training environment is an advantage.
- Relevant coursework or degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
