Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to lead the creation of high-performance, visually stunning websites. The ideal candidate is a WordPress Power User capable of taking a project from a blank canvas to a fully optimized, live production site.
In this role, your priority is twofold:
Aesthetic Excellence and
Technical Performance. You will be responsible for ensuring that every site we launch is not only beautiful but also achieves elite scores in speed, accessibility, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Architect and build responsive WordPress websites from scratch, ensuring clean structure and intuitive navigation.
- Visual Craftsmanship: Translate design concepts into pixel-perfect layouts using modern builders (e.g., Elementor Pro, Bricks, or Gutenberg) and custom CSS.
- Performance Optimization: Implement advanced speed-optimization techniques to satisfy Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) and ensure sub-2-second load times.
- Technical SEO: Execute on-page technical SEO, including schema markup, metadata configuration, and proper heading hierarchies.
- Site Deployment & Migration: Manage the full deployment lifecycle, including staging environments, DNS configuration, and seamless Go-Live procedures.
- Ongoing Maintenance: Conduct regular audits, security hardening, and updates to ensure zero downtime and optimal site health.
Technical Profile
- Platform Mastery: 3–5 years of professional experience dedicated to the WordPress ecosystem.
- Advanced Styling: Expert-level command of CSS3 and HTML5 to achieve design results beyond standard plugin settings.
- Builder Proficiency: Mastery of advanced page builders (Elementor, Oxygen, or Bricks) with a focus on lean building practices.
- Optimization Tools: Proven experience with caching and optimization suites (e.g., WP Rocket, Perfmatters, Asset CleanUp).
- Asset Management: Ability to optimize high-resolution imagery and SVG assets for web use.
- E-Commerce: Competency in configuring and styling WooCommerce environments.
Operational Requirements
- Self-Management: As a 100% remote role, you must demonstrate exceptional time management and the ability to meet project milestones independently.
- Communication: Ability to provide clear, professional updates and document site workflows for clients and internal teams.
- Quality Assurance: A rigorous eye for detail to catch alignment, typography, or performance issues before they reach the client.
