We are looking for a skilled Freelance WordPress Developer based in India to support ongoing website development, customization, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with WordPress, can work independently, and delivers high-quality work within agreed timelines. Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites

• Build and modify themes and plugins as per project requirements

• Convert Figma / XD / PSD designs into responsive WordPress pages

• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices

• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, errors, and security issues

• Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility

• Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools

• Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance

• Communicate progress clearly and meet deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (freelance or professional)

• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL

• Experience with custom themes and plugin development

• Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, etc.)

• Understanding of website performance optimization and security

• Experience with Git or version control is a plus

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Reliable internet connection and availability during agreed hours
