We are seeking a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer to design, implement, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, including creating WordPress themes, plugins, and custom functionality. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver responsive, visually appealing, and high-performing websites.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss website design, functionality, and project requirements.
- Design and build responsive and user-friendly website front-ends.
- Develop and maintain the website architecture for optimal performance and scalability.
- Manage the website back-end, including database and server integration.
- Create, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conduct website performance tests and implement improvements as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve content, layout, and functionality issues.
- Provide WordPress training and technical support to clients as required.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance and security of live websites.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Strong understanding of website architecture, aesthetics, and user experience (UX).
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
