Wordpress Developer & Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress websites for schools and institutions.
• Customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to meet unique institutional needs.
• Develop and optimize landing pages for admissions, events, webinars, and lead generation campaigns.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and page load speed optimization across devices.
• Maintain consistency with branding and enhance user experience in line with UX/UI best practices.
• Collaborate with digital marketing, admissions, and content teams to implement web strategies.
• Perform regular site audits, updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, WordPress capabilities, and educational web design needs.

Key Qualifications & Attributes

• 6 to 10 years of experience in WordPress web design and development.
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Experience with A/B testing tools and basic SEO techniques.
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user journey mapping.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and website performance tools.
• Strong eye for clean design, layout, color, and typography.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and timelines.
• Experience in the education sector is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Certifications in UI/UX, WordPress, or Digital Marketing are a plus.
• Strong portfolio showcasing educational websites, landing pages, and email templates.
