Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Convert PSD/Figma designs into responsive WordPress websites.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot website issues and implement fixes efficiently.
- Ensure website security, backups, and regular updates.
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and plugins.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality websites.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
- Manage website hosting, domain, and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with WordPress.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience in developing custom themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience with WooCommerce is a plus.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with REST APIs integration.
