Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing WordPress websites while ensuring strong SEO performance to improve organic traffic and search engine rankings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
- Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices
- Optimize website speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies accordingly
- Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, internal linking, and images
- Manage WordPress themes, plugins, and customizations
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.
- Fix SEO-related technical issues (crawl errors, indexing issues, broken links, etc.)
- Collaborate with content and design teams for SEO-friendly implementation
- Ensure website security, regular backups, and updates
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with SEO expertise
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Hands-on experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and PHP
- Experience with website performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with WooCommerce
- Knowledge of schema markup and structured data
- Understanding of content marketing and link-building strategies
- Familiarity with website security best practices
