Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with 4+ years of hands-on expertise in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of front-end and back-end development, theme and plugin customization, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications using WordPress
- Build custom themes and plugins based on business requirements
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality websites
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and tools
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Manage website updates, backups, and deployments
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in WordPress development
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development
- Familiarity with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce
- Familiarity with headless WordPress and modern frameworks
- Knowledge of website security best practices
