WordPress Designer / Developer

Location: Remote (India preferred)

Compensation: $700$1,000/month (based on experience)

About the Role

We're hiring a process-driven WordPress Designer / Developer to build high-performance, conversion-focused websites at scale for U.S. local service businesses.

This is NOT a creative design role

This is NOT custom work from scratch

You'll work inside a factory-style fulfillment system with:

• Pre-approved layouts
• Page templates
• Clear SOPs
• Fixed timelines
• Minimal revisions

If you like structure, speed, and repeatable work, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Building

• 25-page WordPress websites
• Hosted on Cloudways
• Built from approved design previews
• Pages include:
• Home
• About
• Contact
• Service hub + service pages
• Location pages
• Privacy / Terms

You will NOT:

• Write SEO copy
• Talk to clients
• Design creatively from scratch
• Handle unlimited revisions
  

Key Responsibilities

Spin up WordPress sites on Cloudways

Configure lightweight themes, caching, and security

Build full websites using templated layouts

Replicate layouts across 25 pages efficiently

Ensure mobile responsiveness and clean UI

Lock URL structures once approved

Implement 301 redirects (RankMath / Redirection plugin)

Perform QA before handoff (layouts, links, responsiveness)

Required Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• 2+ years of WordPress development experience
• Hands-on experience with Cloudways
• Experience building multi-page templated websites
• Strong understanding of:
• Page structure
• Permalinks
• 301 redirects
• Mobile-first mindset
• Ability to follow SOPs and checklists
• Comfortable working with deadlines and volume
  

Nice to Have (Big Plus)

• Local SEO website experience
• Experience with RankMath or Yoast
• Page speed optimization knowledge
• Experience working with offshore / agency teams

• 46 complete 25-page websites per month
• Each site delivered in 57 days
• Clean URLs
• Zero broken layouts
• Minimal revisions
