Hiring a Senior Workday HCM Analyst for the Global Competency Centre of a global logistics

leader driving digital transformation and operational excellence.

Role details:

• Title / Designation: Workday Finance Team Lead

• Location: Gurugram, India

• Work mode: Hybrid

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Workday Financials domain (Core Financials, Procurement, Expenses,

Assets, Accounting Center, Prism) including configuration, enhancements, and ongoing

support.

• Manage and optimize finance processes such as General Ledger, journal entries, period

close, allocations, consolidations, and reporting.

• Act as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and business teams, translating functional

requirements into scalable system solutions and improvements.

• Drive system governance, security, and data integrity, including organizational structures,

worktags, hierarchies, and compliance controls.

• Support budgeting, planning, integrations, and system releases, ensuring alignment with

business strategy and seamless connectivity with external systems.

• Lead and mentor the team, oversee day-to-day operations, stakeholder management,

issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives in a global environment.

Candidate requirements:

• 10+ years of overall experience with 6+ years in Workday Financials, including

implementation and support.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Workday Financial Management configuration and deep

understanding of Financial Data Model (FDM) and work tag frameworks.

• Proven experience in leading teams / managing work intake, prioritization, and releases in

a global setup.

• Solid understanding of core finance processes (GL, close cycles, reporting, budgeting,

multi-entity environments).

• Experience working in global, multi-country, multi-entity organizations with strong

stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Workday Pro Certification (Financials), exposure to Prism, Accounting Center, Adaptive

Planning, integrations, and logistics/supply chain domain experience are preferred.
