WLAN Test Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and self-driven WLAN Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in 802.11 standards and network testing. The ideal candidate must have solid understanding of wireless technologies, experience in performance testing, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform WLAN testing with strong hands-on experience in IEEE 802.11 standards.
• Conduct performance testing including throughput, latency, and stability tests.
• Execute detailed testing of networking features and protocols.
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Work with traffic generators, protocol analyzers, sniffers, and other test tools.
• Use automation frameworks and contribute to test automation as needed.
• Diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide detailed reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Bring innovative ideas to enhance test efficiency and coverage.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with WLAN / Wi-Fi technologies and 802.11 protocols.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience in performance testing (Throughput & Latency).
• Knowledge of Python and Shell scripting (preferred).
• Experience working with:
• Traffic generators
• Sniffers / protocol analyzers
• Test automation tools
• Test management tools
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
