About the Role
WaterMarc is looking for an experienced and creative Wix Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining websites using the Wix platform. The candidate should be capable of creating visually appealing, responsive, and high-performing websites aligned with business goals and user experience standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain websites using Wix
- Customize Wix templates and build websites from scratch
- Create responsive and mobile-friendly website layouts
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO
- Manage website updates, integrations, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the design, content, and marketing teams
- Integrate forms, APIs, payment gateways, and third-party tools
- Ensure website functionality, security, and smooth user experience
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Wix Website Development
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of responsive web design principles
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimisation
- Experience with domain, hosting, and website management
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in website development
- Familiarity with UI/UX best practices
- Knowledge of additional CMS platforms is a plus
