Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Project Specific (Must Have)Create and develop wiring harness 3D routing using Siemens NX Electrical Routing module as per packaging and design requirementsPrepare 2D flattening drawings of wiring harnesses including wire lengths, bundle diameters, and branch detailsDefine and manage connectors, clips, clamps, protective coverings (corrugated tubes, tapes, sleeves) in NX libraryPerform routing feasibility, bend radius checks, clearance analysis, and ensure compliance with design standardsGenerate and maintain BOM, wiring tables, and harness documentation for manufacturing and validationAbility to assess electrical characteristics and influences on EMC owing to Wiring harness design2. General ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate excellent oral and written communication skillsUtilize strong interpersonal skills for effective collaborationApply problem-solving skills, analytical and logical thinking to engineering challengesMaintain goal-oriented approach as a team player with focus on qualityWork proactively with quick learning ability and handle tasks independentlyRequired Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills (Must Have)Medium to expert level user of UG-NX, Teamcenter, and AutoCADGood knowledge of electrical components and ability to read data sheetsGood knowledge in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Experience coordinating with tooling suppliers from end to endProficiency in usage of config files, templates, and knowledge of mechanical standardsSoft SkillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsProblem-solving skills with analytical and logical thinking abilitiesGoal-oriented, team player, quality-focusedProactive, quick learner, and capable of handling tasks independently
