Wireless Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise WLAN solutions using Cisco Meraki and Juniper Mist.

Conduct predictive, active, and passive wireless surveys using tools such as Ekahau or AirMagnet.

Develop and maintain wireless architecture documentation including HLDs and LLDs.

Perform RF design, channel planning, and power tuning for performance and capacity.

Lead deployments, upgrades, and optimization of wireless networks.

Monitor and troubleshoot using Meraki Dashboard and Mist AI analytics.

Implement and support:

WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise

802.1X / RADIUS

Guest Wireless

VLAN segmentation and QoS

Partner with network and security teams to integrate wireless with wired/network identity systems.

Provide tier-3 support and root cause analysis for wireless issues.

Produce post-implementation reports and network performance metrics
