About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Wireless Core Engineer to join our Wireless Core Network Operations team. The role focuses on end-to-end administration and operations of HLR/HSS systems, supporting mission critical wireless services. The ideal candidate will act as an SME for Wireless Core, with strong hands-on expertise in 3G/4G core networks, signaling protocols, and production troubleshooting.

What You'll Do:
- Perform end‑to‑end operations and administration of HLR, HSS, and SMSC systems
- Act as an SME for Wireless Core Network Operations
- Support subscriber management and provisioning across 3G, 4G, and 5G networks
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex HLR/HSS/SMSC production issues under SLA
- Analyze and debug SS7, MAP, Diameter, VoLTE, and SGd call flows
- Support system deployment, software upgrades, and subscriber migrations
- Work on STP and DRA architecture, call routing, and signaling optimization
- Collaborate with vendors, NOC teams, and cross‑functional engineering teams
- Ensure high availability and performance of wireless core services
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive actions
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in HLR/HSS operations and administration
- Strong knowledge of Wireless Core Network architecture including HLR, HSS, SMSC, STP, and DRA
- Expertise in 3G and 4G call flows with exposure to 5G
- Proficiency in SS7, MAP, Diameter, VoLTE, and SGd signaling
- Experience with HLR/HSS and SMSC deployment, upgrades, and subscriber migration
- Strong troubleshooting skills in production wireless core environments
- Experience working under pressure in mission‑critical telecom operations
- Solid understanding of subscriber data management and signaling protocols
- Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix system administration
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes environments
- Good scripting skills for automation and operational support
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
