As a Wireless Network & Cisco ISE Operations SME at Koch, you will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing enterprise network access services. You will serve as a technical leader and escalation point for complex wireless and authentication challenges while driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and value creation across network access services.
Our Team
You will be part of an enterprise Network & Connectivity team responsible for delivering secure wired, wireless, and identity-based access services across a global hybrid environment. The team works closely with Identity, Security, Cloud, and Endpoint teams to enable business productivity while protecting critical assets.
What You Will Do
- Own the operational reliability, optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise wireless, wired LAN, and Cisco ISE authentication platforms.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex wireless and authentication incidents, applying structured troubleshooting and sound judgment.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve Cisco ISE policies supporting secure network access, including enterprise, guest, and BYOD use cases.
- Partner cross-functionally to align network access services with security standards, business priorities, and evolving technology needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve scalability, resilience, automation, and operational efficiency across network access services.
- Create and maintain clear operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials to elevate team capability.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Proven experience operating and supporting enterprise-grade Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) environments.
- Hands-on experience configuring secure network access solutions (802.1X, MAB, guest access, and device onboarding).
- Experience supporting Cisco wireless and wired LAN environments, including controller-based and cloud-managed platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across authentication, access control, and network connectivity domains.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and document operational outcomes.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience supporting hybrid Cisco ISE deployments across on-premises and cloud (AWS) environments.
- Hands-on expertise with certificate-based authentication (EAP-TLS) and PKI integrations.
- Experience with automation, monitoring, and lifecycle tooling to improve reliability and reduce MTTR.
- Cisco professional-level certifications (CCNP Enterprise/Security) or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated alignment to Koch principles such as Value Creation, Responsibility & Accountability, and Principled Entrepreneurship.
