Job Description
- We are looking for a highly skilled Wintel / VMware / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Windows Server environments, virtualization, and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation, hybrid cloud environments, and infrastructure operations, along with excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Design, deploy, and support VMware infrastructure including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
- Implement and manage Azure IaaS solutions, including cloud automation and migration activities
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Bash
- Support storage operations with basic exposure to Pure Storage and storage provisioning
- Apply security best practices, system hardening, and ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across Windows, virtualization, and cloud platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver stable and scalable infrastructure solutions
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Wintel Engineering and VMware administration
- Hands-on expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPO management
- Solid understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Azure IaaS, cloud automation, and migration strategies
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of security hardening, compliance standards, and best practices
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in hybrid cloud environments (On-prem + Azure)
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
- Knowledge of enterprise networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Load Balancers)
- Awareness of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management
Preferred Certifications
- VMware VCP
- Microsoft Azure Administrator / Azure Architect
- Equivalent industry certifications
