Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Wintel Cloud Architectto design, implement, and manage
enterprise-scale hybrid cloud infrastructureacross
Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments. This role requires deep expertise in
Windows (Wintel) platforms,
cloud architecture,
virtualization,
storage,
backup,
disaster recovery, and
infrastructure automation, along with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & Hybrid Architecture
- Architect, deploy, and manageAzure IaaS/PaaS solutions, with integration toAWS services.
- Administer Azure services includingVMs, VM Scale Sets, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, App Services, AKS, Docker, Storage, Networking, IAM, and Azure Site Recovery.
- Define and executehybrid cloud strategiesintegrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure and AWS.
Wintel & On-Prem Infrastructure
- Design and supportWindows Server environments (20122022+).
- ManageActive Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, RDS, IIS, PKI, and Windows clustering.
- AdministerVMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSANplatforms.
- Integrate enterprisestorage solutions(NetApp, Pure, Dell) andSAN networking(Brocade, Dell).
Migration & Modernization
- Leadcloud migration and infrastructure modernization projectsend-to-end.
- Assess application and infrastructurecloud readiness.
- Developmigration roadmaps, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement migration approaches includinglift-and-shift, re-platform, and refactor.
Backup, DR & Resilience
- Architect and managebackup and disaster recovery solutionsacross hybrid environments.
- IntegrateVeeam and NetBackupwith infrastructure and application layers.
- ConductDR planning, testing, and recovery validation.
- Performcapacity planning and performance optimization.
Security & Compliance
- Implementidentity management, RBAC, and data protection best practices.
- Ensure infrastructure complies withsecurity policies, audit requirements, and vulnerability management standards.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Develop automation usingPowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible.
- ImplementInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC)for consistent, repeatable deployments.
- Automate provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows.
Documentation & Operations
- Produce and maintainarchitecture diagrams, technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
- Maintain accurate documentation forcloud and on-prem environments.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as aSubject Matter Expert (SME)forWintel, Azure, and hybrid infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers and provideescalation support.
- Collaborate withvendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams.
- Own and drive infrastructure initiatives fromdesign to delivery.
Required Skills & ExperienceCloud Platforms
- 10+ yearsof hands-on experience withAzure and AWS.
- Strong expertise in cloud networking, security, monitoring, backup, and DR.
Wintel Technologies
- 10+ yearsmanaging enterpriseWindows Serverenvironments.
- Expertise inAD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, RDS, PKI, IIS, clustering.
Virtualization, Storage & Backup
- Strong experience withVMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
- Enterprise storage experience withNetApp, Pure, and Dell.
- Backup technologies:Veeam and NetBackup.
Automation & DevOps
- Proficiency inPowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience withInfrastructure-as-Codeand automation frameworks.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong vendor and project management capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305)
