Role Overview
We are looking for a service-oriented, tech-savvy IT Windows System Engineer to join our global IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate is curious, goal-driven, and committed to delivering secure, stable, and high-performing IT services. You will work closely with colleagues across geographies and partner organizations to implement, operate, and support server infrastructure.
Reporting
Reports to : Head ICC System Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, operate, and maintain Windows Server environments
- Administer and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and supporting tools
- Develop and maintain scripts and tooling to automate repetitive operational tasks
- Deploy and manage OS patches, updates, and security fixes
- Operate and manage VMware/vSphere virtualization environments
- Provide first-level support for IT server infrastructure
- Monitor IT systems including Microsoft Servers and storage infrastructure
- Ensure systems remain compliant with configuration baselines and security policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / BCA in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting
- Solid experience with VMware/vSphere virtualization technologies
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Sound understanding of patch management best practices
- Proficiency in Windows scripting using PowerShell
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals : TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls
- Strong knowledge of File Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy management
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
