Windows System Engineer (Core Skillsets)

Windows Server administration: installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).

Active Directory management, including users, groups, organizational units, and group policies.

DNS, DHCP, and certificate services management.

File and print services configuration and troubleshooting.

Virtualization experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere or Hyper-V, including VM provisioning and resource management.

PowerShell scripting for automation, reporting, and system troubleshooting.

Monitoring and performance tuning using tools like SCOM or PerfMon.

Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, and basic firewall troubleshooting.

Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.

Clear documentation skills for processes and configurations.

Good time management to handle patching, KTLO, and project work.

Ability to collaborate across multiple technical teams
