Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Windows Server Administrator (L2) to manage, maintain, and support enterprise-level Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Office 365, with hands-on experience in physical and virtual server infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (installation, patching, and troubleshooting).
- Provide L2 technical support for server incidents, performance issues, and system outages.
- Perform Active Directory administration user/group management, group policies, and access permissions.
- Support and troubleshoot Office 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Conduct server monitoring, health checks, and backup management to ensure high availability.
- Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Manage DNS, DHCP, and file/print services within the server environment.
- Collaborate with L3 support teams for escalations, major incident resolutions, and change implementations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and processes.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, patch management, and compliance reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 36 years of experience in Windows Server Administration (2012/2016/2019).
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain management.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and Exchange Online.
- Exposure to virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V.
- Experience with server backups, patching tools, and monitoring solutions.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and ticket-based incident management systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Symantec, Commvault).
- Knowledge of cloud or hybrid environments (Azure AD, Intune) is a plus.
