Job Description
- Manage and maintain IIS Server and Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Monitor server health troubleshoots issues and implement fixes to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support application deployment and configuration
- Perform regular server updates patches and security enhancements to maintain compliance
- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify potential problems
- Support integration of applications with IIS and Windows Server infrastructure
- Document server configurations procedures and incident reports for knowledge sharing
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in server management and application support
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide expert level support for IIS Server and Windows Server related issues
- Configure and optimize Tomcat Apache servers as part of the application support ecosystem
- Respond promptly to incident tickets performing root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications
- Ensure high availability and reliability of server environments through proactive monitoring
- Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery planning activities
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance within the application support family
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding system status incidents and resolutions
