Windows Infrastructure & Patching Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows infrastructure environments ensuring availability performance and operational stability
• Plan coordinate and execute Windows patching cycles monthly adhoc including pre checks deployment and post validation
• Perform patch impact analysis risk assessment and scheduling aligned with maintenance windows and change governance
• Troubleshoot patching failures and infrastructure issues perform root cause analysis and implement preventive fixes
• Maintain patch compliance reporting dashboards and audit ready documentation for stakeholders and security teams
• Coordinate with application owners to validate services after patching and ensure timely issue resolution
• Support Windows Server administration activities such as health checks capacity monitoring and incident problem management
• Drive standard operating procedures SOPs runbooks and continuous improvements for patching and infrastructure operations

Technical Requirements:

• 5 11 years of hands on experience in Windows infrastructure operations and Windows patching management
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and Windows Server administration in enterprise environments
• Experience executing patching processes with clear validation steps rollback planning and change coordination
• Proven troubleshooting skills across Windows infrastructure including patch related failures and service disruptions
