About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join the Windows Display Team at Qualcomm India Private Limited. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing display drivers and related software for Windows-based Snapdragon PCs. This position requires a deep understanding of display technologies, embedded systems, and driver development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality display solutions that meet the needs of our customers and align with the company's innovation goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, problem-solving skills, and a passion for advancing display technology in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with a PhD in these areas will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on display technologies, is required. Proficiency in C/C++ programming is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills are vital for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams. Preferred qualifications include experience with Windows display driver model (WDDM), DirectX, and display technologies such as DisplayPort and image processing. Familiarity with hardware debuggers like Windbg and Trace is a plus. Candidates should also have experience working with hardware and software integration, debugging, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Design and develop display drivers and related software for Windows-based Snapdragon devices to ensure optimal performance and stability.

Debug and resolve complex issues related to display drivers, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality user experience.

Optimize display performance, power consumption, and resource utilization to meet the device and user requirements.

Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of display components and driver software.

Conduct thorough testing and validation of display solutions, including performance benchmarking and troubleshooting.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in display technologies and incorporate best practices into development processes.

Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge sharing within the team.
