Your Job

As a Windows Analyst at Koch Capabilities India, you will play a key role in supporting and advancing our global server infrastructure. You will join Koch's global Compute team, working alongside colleagues across regions to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable server platforms. This role provides the opportunity to help shape and grow Koch Technologies in India while contributing to global initiatives, improving platform reliability, and driving operational excellence.

Our Team

You will be part of the Koch Technologies (KT) Server Team in India, collaborating closely with global L2/L3 infrastructure engineers, architects, security, and application teams. Our team is responsible for delivering core compute, virtualization, storage, and collaboration capabilities for Koch companies worldwide. We strive for continuous improvement, operational rigor, and principled entrepreneurship in everything we do.

What You Will Do

  • Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) across production and non‑production platforms.
  • Manage VMware vSphere / ESXi environments including VM lifecycle management, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, remediation, and reliability engineering activities to enhance availability, stability, and security.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations and planned maintenance windows to support 24×7 global operations.
  • Lead incident investigations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Proactively monitor system health, performance, and capacity to avoid disruptions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal security, compliance, backup, and recovery standards.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and automate recurring operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with application teams, architects, recovery teams, and infrastructure partners across regions.
  • Contribute to operational documentation, build standards, and knowledge bases to improve team efficiency.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting enterprise‑scale Windows Server environments.
  • Strong practical expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi administration and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of reliability engineering, system monitoring, patching, and incident management processes.
  • Experience working in virtualized and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with PowerShell and automation/IaC tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
  • Exposure to AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities in high‑impact production environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment while managing multiple priorities.

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience with observability platforms, backup/recovery tools, and enterprise monitoring systems.
  • Proven experience driving reliability improvements, standardization, or automation initiatives.
  • Strong automation mindset with demonstrated success in reducing manual work.
  • Familiarity with enterprise‑grade resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Experience defining or contributing to operational standards and best practices

Other Role Considerations


  • Participate in on‑call rotation schedules and planned weekend maintenance windows.
  • Flexible to work in APAC/EMEA shifts.
  • Onsite role; presence required 5 days a week.
