About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator with 8+ years of expertise in managing enterprise Windows Server environments. The role focuses on ensuring system availability, performance, and security through effective administration, patch management, and Active Directory services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining infrastructure stability, implementing security best practices, and supporting business-critical systems in a structured, process-driven environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) ensuring uptime and performance.
  • Plan and execute patching cycles using enterprise tools (WSUS/SCCM/Endpoint Manager) and report compliance.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, and authentication services.
  • Handle incidents and service requests; perform RCA and preventive maintenance.
  • Implement server hardening, security baselines, and access controls in collaboration with security teams.
  • Support virtualization platforms and backup/restore activities.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and participate in changing management routines.
  • Coordinate with application owners for deployments, maintenance windows, and troubleshooting.

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years of Windows administration experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in AD/GPO, DNS/DHCP, and Windows server troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with patch management tools and adherence to change management processes.
  • PowerShell scripting ability for automation and reporting.
  • Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools (ServiceNow/SCOM or equivalents).
  • Preferred: Exposure to Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and hybrid identity.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering/computer science/IT or equivalent practical experience.
