Job Summary

     Seeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Windows OS administration focusing on IIS Server Microsoft SCOM PowerShell SCCM and Azure Active Directory management

 

    Job Description          

      Manage and maintain IIS Server environments to ensure optimal performance and availability Utilize Microsoft SCOM for monitoring and alerting on system health and performance Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation of routine administrative tasks Administer SCCM for software deployment patch management and asset inventory Manage Azure Active Directory including user and group management access controls and integration with onpremises AD Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support Windows infrastructure and resolve technical issues Ensure compliance with security policies and implement best practices in system administration Monitor system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues Participate in capacity planning disaster recovery and backup strategies for Windows environments

 

    Roles and Responsibilities          

      Review and triage vulnerabilities related to Windows infrastructure components Analyze scan reports and validate findings to remove false positives Prioritize remediation efforts based on severity exploitability and asset criticality Monitor patch deployment success and coordinate retries for failures Remediate misconfigurations and insecure settings through GPO registry or local policies Implement compensating controls and mitigations when patches are unavailable Log all changes and actions in the change management system Ensure assets are prepared for rescanning and validation by security teams Assist in troubleshooting failed validations and share updates via dashboards or reports Coordinate with application owners server administrators and other stakeholders Escalate blockers or access issues promptly to ensure timely resolution Maintain remediation SOPs fix libraries and document lessons learned Share tools scripts and guidance internally to improve team efficiency
