We are looking for a skilled Windows & VMware Engineer responsible for managing virtual infrastructure, supporting Windows environments, and driving automation across operations. The role also includes basic cloud exposure to support hybrid environments.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Manage VMware vSphere / ESXi environments:
- VM provisioning, templates, snapshots
- HA, DRS, and vMotion operations
- Administer Windows Server (20162022):
- Installation, patching, and lifecycle management
- Perform basic cloud operations (Azure/AWS):
- VM provisioning and monitoring
- Understanding of hybrid connectivity
- Automate routine tasks using:
- PowerShell
- VMware PowerCLI
- Troubleshoot:
- VM performance issues (CPU, memory, storage)
- OS-level issues in Windows servers
- Support:
- Backup validation (Veeam/Commvault coordination)
- Monitoring and alert handling
- Participate in:
- Incident, problem, and change management
- DR drills and basic recovery validation
Skills You Bring:
- 6-12 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in VMware vSphere / ESXi
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration
- Hands-on with PowerShell scripting
- Basic understanding of Azure or AWS
- Good troubleshooting skills across infra layers
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Nutanix AHV
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible/Terraform)
- Basic networking knowledge
