Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled Windows 10 System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise Windows 10 environments. You'll be crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of end-user computing devices, supporting large-scale deployments, and managing group policies. Key Responsibilities
- Windows 10 Deployment & Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Windows 10 operating systems across the organization using tools like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, or Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Manage Group Policies (GPOs) to enforce security settings, software deployments, and system configurations.
- Perform operating system upgrades, patching, and vulnerability management for Windows 10 endpoints.
- System Health & Performance:
- Monitor the health, performance, and security of Windows 10 devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex operating system issues, performance bottlenecks, and software conflicts.
- Implement and manage endpoint security solutions, including anti-virus, anti-malware, and disk encryption.
- User Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide advanced-level support for Windows 10 related issues, acting as an escalation point for service desk teams.
- Assist end-users with software installations, configurations, and general technical problems.
- Automation & Scripting:
- Develop and implement PowerShell scripts for automating routine administration tasks, deployments, and reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Windows 10 management processes through automation.
- Documentation & Best Practices:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Windows 10 configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and internal IT standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Windows System Administrator with a strong focus on Windows 10 enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Intune.
- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting Group Policies (GPOs).
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows administration.
- Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and hybrid identity concepts.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) as they relate to endpoint connectivity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Experience with other endpoint security solutions.
- Knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
